On the subject of Love. - wow what a meaningful topic.

That which has bought us into this world; that which unites us with each other; that which fuels us through unimaginable times.

Love is something that has felt at times of my life like a complete mystery. Something that may be waiting somewhere behind a corner for me to discover, or something that quite frankly I have believed I may never discover.

But God has always loved me. If nothing else I will always have a baseline of God’s Love in my life. - the essence of the world which I carry inside of me, the energy of my soul and all of creation.

Yet on more of the physical level also- I am not lost without a monogomous romantic partner. I am not incomplete waiting around to ‘find’ the love of my life. I am a loving being, who can set the state of her own internal landscape. I can choose love and to be loving at all moments of my life.

This year I have decided to re-get instagram. I have always been hesitant to involve myself too much into technology- believing that life is to be lived in the ‘real‘ world, and to allow miracles to happen I must be off my phone, talking to strangers, getting lost and enjoying what is in front of me. I still believe that a lot of lifes joys do come from the moments without a phone, or at least what a phone in this case represents, which is the ability to have immediate answers and also a possible distraction. Hence what I believe to be joyful is getting lost, being bored, not having a plan or an answer and having your eyes fully open to the interactions and observations right in front of you.

This being said, what I no longer agree with in my first statement is that technology is somehow outside of the real world. I see now that this is false. The real world is all around us, everywhere in our experience. Technology is a part of our world, just because it is new, and digital, and with potential consequences does not make it unreal. To deny this I realised is to deny a part of the world. It is to deny myself possible connections.

I love the saying “You become an average of the five people you spend most time with“. I like it a lot because there is so much truth in it that I have seen with my own eyes. Well a beautiful thing about the digital world that we live in is we can be more conscious of who those five people are. If we have specific interests and noone in our physical environment to talk to about it or be inspired by, we can find those people online. Online we can continue to feed parts of us with inspiration and well learned people, who geographically live outside of our bubble. This is a really amazing oppretunity and something that I am keen to partake in.

Something else that makes me feel easier about joining instagram now, is the clarity I feel about who I am and where it is that I would like to be going.
